Omega Geneve Dynamic

Let’s talk about a watch design concept that was forward thinking for its time, that even today is still marked as innovative. This Omega Geneve Dynamic ref. 166.079 was first introduced in the late 1960s as a part of Omega’s Geneve line, but what distinguish the Dynamic over the regular Geneve line was its unique elliptical case shape that was designed to fit the wrist more comfortably, and targeted towards a younger audience at the time. If you were one of those lucky kids growing up in the 1970s wearing an Omega Geneve Dynamic, you sure would be the center of attention!
This watch comes with a Caliber 752 that features an interesting pump mechanism to set the day and date. The watch has been tested prior and is keeping excellent time.

Condition Report:
This watch is in exceptional and original condition. The original dial has started to age into a beautiful patina that features overall and consistent spotting on the blue surface that we think quite resembles the cosmos. The lume on the hands and dial are all original and had never been touched up and has aged beautifully into a creamy color. The case is still very sharp and retains all its original shapes and had likely rarely seen a polishing machine. The crown is original Omega stamped, and the watch also still has the original Omega signed crystal. The movement runs great and is keeping excellent time for a vintage watch.
