Seiko Lord Matic

The Seiko Lord Matic line was a bridge between the popular Seiko 5, the higher end King Seiko and Grand Seiko making it a mid-range automatic watch in the Seiko line. The finishing on the dial, and the polishing on the chrome is much higher in quality than you would typically find in the general Seiko 5 line, dare we say entering into King Seiko and Grand Seiko territory in terms of quality. This means the Lord Matic is an impeccably great bargain in the Seiko line-up, featuring 25 Jewels in the cal. 7190 found on this watch. 
This particular watch with the “LM” text belongs to the 5606 calibre family, which features a day and date, having the day feature in both kanji and English inscription. We always love a JDM model Seiko with a kanji day wheel, as it just makes the watch unique and stands out making a conversation starter. 

Condition report:

This watch is in overall good condition, with the original dial starting to turn brown, darker in some areas, hands all original, and original day and date wheel. The case had been polished in the past, although still retaining good sharp lines. The leather strap is a high quality aftermarket and is still in good condition. The watch had been professionally serviced and is keeping good time.
