Vulcain Cricket Circa 1960s - Rare Corkscrew Hand

This was the era of the water-protected Vulcain Cricket.

No longer confined to desks or bedside tables, the Cricket of the 1960s was built for movement. Its case was stronger, better sealed, and designed to withstand rain, sweat, and the unpredictability of daily life. The watch could now follow its owner from morning routines to long meetings, from city streets to distant travels, all while keeping its most defining trait intact: its unmistakable alarm.
The alarm mechanism, now more refined, still sang its sharp, buzzing call, clear enough to cut through the noise of a busy world. 
This particular watch features a rare and unusual corkscrew alarm hands that sets aside from other Vulcain Cricket models before and even after. 
This was a Vulcain Cricket, evolved for a new age, still calling its owner to attention, one alarm at a time.

Condition Report: 

This watch is in overall great condition. The original dial is overall clean and shows very minor signs of wear. All the tritium lume on the dial are still intact and all original. The dauphine hands also still retains the original tritium lume, all still intact. The case had been lightly polished in the past and is still strong and sharp. The watch is missing its alarm caseback, but the alarm still rings flawlessly; loud and crisp. The watch had been checked by our watchmaker and is still keeping great time.
