The Omega Genève Dynamic Ref. 166.108 is a watch that perfectly captures an era when design was just as important as function. Introduced in the early 1970s, the Dynamic was Omega’s answer to the changing tastes of a new generation one that embraced innovation, modernity, and individuality. The reference 166.108, powered by Omega’s reliable automatic Calibre 1022, featured both day and date complications and was housed in the collection’s signature ergonomic elliptical case.

This particular example stands out with its striking charcoal patinated grey dial, framed by a contrasting brushed silver chapter ring and accented by a vivid orange seconds hand. The design is quintessentially Omega Dynamic: clean yet futuristic, functional yet playful. The day-date display at 3 o’clock adds practicality, while the recessed crown and seamless case profile create a silhouette unlike anything else from the period.

Condition report: 

The watch is in overall great and original condition. The original dial has some patina mainly on the chapter ring with some fading effect. There are some flaking around the day & date window. The hands are all original, the lume is original tritium and has haged to an attractive cream color. The case appears to be lightly polisehed in the past, and is still thick and presents its shape beautifully. The watch comes with the original leather strap and omega buckle & clasp. There are some present wear on the original leather strap, but is still completely good to wear. The watch also comes with the original Omega signed plexi glass, and omega signed crown. The movement had been recently serviced with the movement dismantled, cleaned, oiled, and re-assembled, and is now keeping good time.
