This Ricoh Diver 15 Bar Quartz is one of those underrated Japanese pieces that quietly captures the spirit of vintage tool watches perfectly. Compact, purposeful, and functional.
From the bold diver bezel to the aged lume plots and sword hands, it carries that unmistakable neo-vintage charm that made Japanese dive watches so beloved throughout the late 80s and early 90s.
Most of these watches were daily companions, worn hard, taken everywhere, exposed to water, sun, and time itself. Finding one in this good of a condition, with its original presentation box adds another layer of character to the story.
Powered by a reliable quartz movement and rated to 15 BAR water resistance when new, this Ricoh reflects an era when Japanese watchmakers focused on durability, accessibility, and practical design.
Condition report:
This watch is in overall great condition. The original lume plot on the dial and hands has aged and developed patina. The case shows honest wear and wears a small dent on the right side of the case, although still ataining the shape of the case nicely. The quartz movement is in good condition and keeping good time. The watch comes with its original presentation box and wears an aftermarket strap.
