This vintage TITUS Matic belongs to the latter.
A quiet piece from an era when watches were built with restraint, elegance, and purpose, featuring a sunburst champagne dial, applied markers, warm gold-filled case, and that charming roulette date wheel that instantly gives away its vintage soul.
Inside beats a 21 jewels automatic movement with its cal. 2472. No loud branding, no oversized case, no unnecessary complications. Just pure mid-century character on the wrist, this watch is as classic and well proportioned as a dress watch could be.
Condition report:
This watch is in overall excellent and original condition, with the original dial clean and showing minimal wear. The plexi glass appears to be factory original with a date window magnifyer. The gold filling on the case still wears thick and shows no signs of fading. The crown is original signed. There are minor scratches and signs of honest wear throughout. The cal. 2472 movement is clean and is still keeping good time. The watch came with a broken vintage bracelet, although we have sourced a NOS vintage leather strap that compliments the watch nicely and we think looks stunning with it.
