Solvil et Titus, or known as Titus is a Swiss watch brand with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Known for making durable and affordable timepieces, the watch we have here is prove that you don’t have to break the bank to own a solidly built robust vintage timepiece. The movement found on this watch is a very dependable and reliable movement which is the ETA 2472 that is also found in a lot of higher tier Swiss watch brand such as Girard-Perregaux, Movado, and the likes. With the affordable price this watch attains, we could not think of any other watch that offers a reliable and dependable Swiss movement, carrying a vintage apeal in its patinated dial from the 1960s. Although today the brand had been bought buy a Hong Kong based company, this watch came from an era when the brand was producing quality and dependable products coming from Switzerland. 

Condition report:

This watch recently had its movement fully overhauled and cleaned during its service and is now keeping accurate time. We are able to provide you with the pictures, videos, and results of the recent service. The original dial has patina all around, wearing visible marks and parts of the dial turning brown. There are no fading on the text around the dial, however the date wheel has some fading on some of the numbers. There is also a visible mark on top of the “Titus” logo. The hands and lume are all original and untouched, and the case being polished in the past still retains sharp edges. The watch comes with an aftermarket strap still in good condition. Overall, the watch is in good condition and is perfect for someone who is starting in collecting vintage pieces.
