Tudor Prince Oysterdate 7990/4 Rolex Case Vintage 1968

At first glance, the Tudor Prince Oysterdate 7990/4 does not shout for attention. Its 34mm stainless steel case sits comfortably on the wrist, elegant and balanced. The gently fluted bezel caught the light just enough, while the clean silver dial, blessed with beautiful tones reflected the understated taste of its era. Condition report:

This watch is in overall great condition. The dial appears to be a transitional dial, right before Tudor changed its logo to the shield design. The dial is nice and clean with a silver sunburst finish. The hour indicies has a nice patina, and the lume on the hands are original tritium. The case had been polished throughout the decades, and the fluted bezel is in great condition. The watch has the original Rolex case-back, and an aftermarket Rolex riveted-style bracelet. The movement has been serviced, dismantled, oiled and is now keeping great time. Video of results on timegrapher is available upon request.
